A location of my house in Seoul

My house is located in the northeastern part of Seoul.
The address is 202-1005 Mukdong Xi Apt., Muk 1-dong, Jungnang-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Zipcode : 131-757

Korean capital city Seoul is locacted in the midwest of the Korean peninsula. It was designated as Korea's capital city during the Joseon Dynasty(1392 ~ 1910). Since then, the city has continued to grow to become the largest in the country.
In the heart of Seoul stand royal palaces designated as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage and high-tech buildings occupied by global institutions. The Han River flows through Seoul and bisects the city into north and south.
The vast subway system transports millions of passengers daily to their destination. The subway is the most convinient public transportation in Seoul. My house is near from two subway stations, so it is convinient to access to the downtown and explore Seoul.

My house is on the 10th floor of the 35-story commercial and residential building. There is a big discount store(E-mart, like Wal-mart) on the 1st and 2nd basement in the building. And there are restaurants, coffee shops, clinics, pharmacies, hair salons and so on in the building.
It is very convinient for me to go shopping, so I can save time. In case of clinics, especially when my son feels bad, it is easy to go to see a doctor. About coffee shops(Starbucks, Cafebene, Tullys), the localty is not bad, all of them always looks busy.
I often go to a food court on the 1st basement, especially a pizza is bigger than other shops. On the opposite of the food court, there is a culture center(it is similiar to a community center I think), my son attends several courses after school. The food court and the culture run by E-mart.
My house is within easy reach of bicycle trail along a stream and I can see the stream and mountains from my house.

Introduction of 화(flower)투(fight) - go-stop game

Go-stop cards have 12 different suits, with four(cards) to a suit. So go-stop card decks use 48 playing cards. While poker cards have 4 suits with 13 cards per suit, go-stop cards have 12 suits with 4 cards each.
The object of the game is to match the cards in your hand with the same suit of cards laid out in front of you. You get to flip one extra card from a stack in the middle every time your turn comes. You can have a maximun of three players play at once. If you get three points first, you will be a winner, however you can decide whether you want to "go(continue)" or "stop".

Fruit in winter season in Korea - tangerine

Jeju is most known for in Korea is tangerines. Winter marks the beginning of tangerine season, and these days it’s hard to drive a kilometre without passing an orchard tucked behind low stone walls, blazing with thousands of bright orange globes.
For Jejuites, the value of the tangerine goes beyond its deliciousness. It is a symbol of the island’s self-reliant spirit, and one key way in which it distinguishes itself in relation to the mainland.

Gamgyul (tangerine)
Tangerines grown in warm Jeju weather have thin rinds and high sugar content. If you feel hallabong fruits are too pricey, the tangerine is recommended. Tangerines vary in taste and price depending on whether they were grown in outdoor fields (noji) or in greenhouses. Noji tangerines are harvested from November to February. They have both sweet and sour tastes. House tangerines are picked between March and October and have very high sugar content. Noji tangerines are enjoyed in winter, while house tangerines are preferred in summer. Tangerine chocolates and candies are also available.

Hallabong
This is a type of tangerine with a protruding stem. Each weighing about 200~300 grams, the fruit is relatively large, and its sarcocarp is very sweet and soft. Hallabong is rarely the slightest bit sour, so it is liked by people of all ages. It is usually picked in November and December and stored for future sale. Winter and spring are the best seasons to buy it, and the prices vary depending on quality.

The first day of Lee's homestay

It becomes cold again and is snowing in Seoul. Lee has came to my home today.
I think he arrived at Incheon Int. airpot on time (4:30 pm). He was supposed to get in touch with me through kakaotalk, but I received his message 30 minutes later. He must have waited my message.
He took an airport limousine bus and we met a bus stop in front of my apartment.
It is not easy for me to introduce my house and explain how to use in English.
We had a Korean meal for dinner together, but I think it was not proper for him.
He traveled by plane over 20 hours, didn't sleep well and got tired.
I don't know what kind of food dose he like. I should ask to him and find some food that is to his taste.
I know that it is not comfortable to live in other country. I was a foreinger in China for a year. But it is a good experience for giving him some insight.
I have many things to do with him tomorrow. I have to go to sleep now~
